Description
The Madison County Chamber is EXCITED! that the YEA (Young Entrepreneur Academy) class is included in the curriculum this year at Anderson High School.
Developed by Gayle Jagel, and launched at the University of Rochester in 2004, this program takes students through the process of starting and running a real business over the course of a full academic year.
As a YEA licensee, the Chamber is partnering with the Anderson Community School Corporation to ensure the success of the program. The instructor for the class, Mrs. Weiss, is also the Business Department Chair at AHS.
There are several ways for businesses and the community to be involved in the program:
1) Support the school and the students taking the class
2) Be a Sponsor:
- Program Sponsor
- Premier Sponsor
- Fundraiser Sponsor
- Investor Panel Participant & Judge
- Guest Speaker
- CEO Panel Member
- In Class Mentor
- Graphic Designer
- Business Plan Reviewer
