Be a part of history as the City of Anderson takes part in the Time Capsule Ceremony- placing items from our local attractions, school essay contest, political accomplishments and so much more. The time capsule will be permanently located at City Hall in Anderson for 50 years and will be opened during the bicentennial in 2065.

Celebrate our community with FREE family activities and live entertainment by Zanna-doo!,
$1 beer and Dogs in the Yard and a fireworks show at dusk!
Plus, we are featuring a special race honoring our area schools with local principals going head to head in the seat of a Sulky with our Champion Drivers.
