Description
Anderson University’s Boze Lyric Theatre will present “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” premiering Thursday, April 12 at Byrum Hall. Showtimes include evening performances April 12, 13, and 14 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance on April 15 at 2:30 p.m.
“The Marvelous Wonderettes” provides nostalgia-filled evening with more than 30 classic hits from the ’50s and ’60s. “I worked with Roger Bean, the creator of the show, at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater the year after he wrote the show,” said director David Coolidge, assistant professor of musical theatre. “I got to see the progression of the show from Milwaukee to its life on Broadway, so I’ve been excited to direct it when we have the right people for it.”
