Summer Reading Returns to the Library!
The Anderson Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program will run June 1 through July 31 this year. Community members of all ages may sign up at the Children’s or Information desk at the Main Library (111 E. 12th St.) or at the Lapel Branch Library (610 Main St., Lapel) beginning June 1. Kids and teens will read to earn prizes and adults will earn entries into weekly drawings for free books. All ages will earn votes for shared community prizes as well. The library will also have game nights, movie showings, and other free events throughout the summer that tie in to the “Build a Better World” theme of this year’s reading program.
