Small Business Caucus and Town Hall Meeting

Description

The Small Business Caucus that has been formed by members of the Indiana General Assembly is hosting a series of Town Hall meetings around the state to meet face to face with small business owners.

The caucus has invited a variety of speakers, and they hope to work with the administration's recently created Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship over the next several months.

The caucus have four leaders…. Two Democrats (One from the House/Senate) and Two Republicans (One from House/Senate).  The Assembly felt strongly that this should be a bi-partisan effort.

The leaders are:
Rep. Terri Austin (D-Anderson)
Rep. Tom Dermody (R-LaPorte)
Sen. Carlin Yoder (R-Elkhart)
Sen. Tim Lanane (D-Anderson)

The Anderson/Madison County Town Hall meeting is scheduled for September 5, 2013 at the Anderson Public Library.
