City of Anderson Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Anderson, IN—Members of the Anderson community are invited to join the City in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 19 at the Paramount Theatre.

Bobby Wilkerson, founder of the Wilkerson Group service organization, will deliver a keynote address. Honored speakers, U.S. Congresswoman Susan Brooks and Governor Mike Pence, will precede Wilkerson with Mayor Kevin S. Smith to follow.

Wilkerson is a public servant who has devoted his life to youth in the Anderson community. He is an Indiana University top all-­‐time player and a member of the 1975-­‐76 Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team NCAA championship team.
