The locally-based, global child sponsorship ministry, Children of Promise will host its 3rd Annual Benefit Concert. Multiple singing groups, with close ties to Children of Promise, will be featured in the 60-minute concert. Music artists include Joe Creamer, Annie Cushman, Mike Snyder, Jamie Wilkerson, South Meridian Church of God Children?s Choir, South Meridian Church of God Men?s Quartet (Dale Landis, Jerry Byard, Jack Tomlinson, and Paul Maxfield ? Executive Director of Children of Promise), and Paul White. ?This concert is an opportunity to enjoy the talents of some fine musicians as well as lend support to the effort to rescue, restore, and release children in need. As a result of sponsorship, there are young adults all over the world working in various fields (medical, educational, spiritual, financial, etc.) as contributing members of their communities and churches. Many of them would never have gone to school without their sponsors? help. This is the scope of hope and help offered through Children of Promise. We hope many will join us on March 13th as we celebrate and promote changing lives through sponsorship,? explains Dr. Paul Maxfield. Children of Promise sponsors help over 4,600 children in need in 27 countries in Africa, Asia & the Pacific, Middle East, Caribbean, and Latin America. Children of Promise has 700 children globally who are waiting to be sponsored. The need is great.
