Description
The Central Indiana Safety Council invites you to attend our monthly meetings to connect with like-minded professionals in the safety and health industries.
Our mission and purpose is:
1. To provide safety and health awareness in the workplace.
2. To provide a forum to address safety and health issues and concerns of mutual interest.
3. To provide educational programming to promote safety and health in the workplace.
Meetings are typically the first Thursday of each month.

About Keith Robinson
Keith Robinson has been in the safety and environmental arena for 25 years, including assignments as Corporate Safety Director for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., Director - Health, Safety & Environment for Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., Division Regulatory Manager for the Architectural Coatings Group of The Valspar Corporation, Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for OMNOVA Solutions, Safety and Training Manager for High Point Chemical Corporation, Safety Coordinator and Emergency Response Manager for Four Seasons Environmental, Inc., and Assistant Safety Officer of the USS Theodore Roosevelt, CVN-71, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the United States Navy.
As Corporate Safety Director, Keith is responsible for the development and implementation of the Safety Management Systems and Program for CEC, which is a 750-person, multi-disciplinary engineering and project management company. He coordinates health and safety strategies designed to drive a zero incident philosophy throughout the organization, resulting in sustainable and systemic safety cultures that are both compliant and dynamic.
At previous employers, Keith was responsible for all aspects of Safety, Health & Environmental Programs for manufacturing and distribution operations across the United States and Canada. He maintained and updated all Health, Safety and Environmental Standard Operating Procedures and Programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations. He has been the Process Safety Management Coordinator, responsible for all aspects of OSHA Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals programs, including program development, implementation, and maintenance.
Keith has also been actively involved in ASSE, having served as a member of the National Government Affairs Committee and the Future Leaders Committee, as well as the Assistant Regional Vice President for Professional Affairs with Region VI, and was President of the Triad Chapter in the 2004/2005 Chapter Year, for which he earned Chapter of the Year honors. Keith is a two time recipient of Safety Professional of the Year for the Triad Chapter.
Keith has been a presenter at the ASSE National Professional Development Conference previously, as well as at Region VI Professional Development Conference for several years. He also speaks at several chapter meetings.
