Description
Join us for a great evening of painting! Students will be recreating this painting titled, "The Rooster" by Marc Chagall. Marc Chagall was a Russian-French artist. An early modernist, he was associated with several major artistic styles and created works in virtually every artistic medium, including painting, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramic, tapestries and fine art prints. He experienced modernism's "golden age" in Paris, which led to the rise of Surrealism. Learn more about Chagall, his artwork, and his techniques as you follow along with instructor Diane Burrell. Feel Free to bring your favorite drink and/or snack!
