We are excited to announce that Anderson Municipal Airport is hosting an Airshow on July 3^rd in celebration of Independence Day. We reinstituted the airshow last year after the enforced pandemic hiatus and the response was overwhelming. This year the airshow will be bigger and better. We will be featuring 5 performances with Aerobatic Aircraft, Aircraft on display, B25 Bomber rides, WW II military trainer rides, music, and food trucks with Chesterfield sponsored Fireworks to follow the airshow.
 
We are committed to offering this event free to the public. This brings me to the reason for this letter. Would you be willing to consider making a donation to help sponsor our event? One hundred percent of the donation will go towards the airshow. Zero percent will be used for administrative costs. 
 
Anderson Airport plays a major part in the economic development for Madison County providing aviation education, community outreach, as well as corporate citizenship. Just last year, the airport along with Civil Air Patrol gave over 250 orientation aircraft rides to Anderson Preparatory Academy students, giving them their very first opportunity to control an aircraft. This program continues today and will continue well into the future.
