24th Annual Student Show

The Anderson Museum of Art (AMOA) is thrilled to be the hosting venue for the 24th Annual Art Association of Madison County (AAMC) Student Show. The opening for the exhibition will be held on Sunday, March 5 from 2-5 PM. Awards will be presented at 3 PM. More than 400 pieces from 289 Madison County high school students were accepted for the exhibition. “It’s a joy to be part of the 24th Annual AAMC Student Show as the event’s hosting venue. The works presented are very impressive. It’s always a pleasure to celebrate the student’s work with the association.” Stated Mandee Mikulski, AMOA’s Executive Director. Following the opening of the exhibition, patrons are welcome to visit the museum to see the student works. AMOA admission fees will be waived during the exhibition, which will conclude on March 19. AMOA operating hours have been modified during the AAMC Student Show as well. . March 6,7,8,9,10,13,15 12-5 PM March 11, 10 AM- 5 PM March 12,19 2-5 PM March 14,16,17 12-6 PM March 18, 10 AM-6 PM A special sneak peek of the 24th Annual AAMC Student Show will be held during AMOA’s celebration of First Friday on March 3, 2023, from 5-8 PM. AMOA’s First Friday events are always free to the public. AMOA will host 15 vendors during First Friday as part of its ongoing ARTS program, A Reason to Shop.
