SUMMARY:Wake Up! Madison County
DESCRIPTION:WAKE UP! BREAKFAST BETTER THAN EVER\n\nFor 34 years\, Wake Up! has successfully connected thousands of Madison County business professionals and community leaders. Now a revised program under the Get Linked Madison initiative\, the new Wake Up! reaches out to link business executives\, decision makers\, heads of industry\, and non-profits county-wide across the region. Wake Up! offers networking\, exposure\, and community information.\n\n\n\nApril speaker: Historian Dr. Dan Miller (had a conflict & wasn't able to be with us in February so will be speaking at April's breakfast)\n\nDr. Daniel Miller devotes his life to helping people learn from history. As the owner\, founder and president of Historical Solutions since 2004\, Dr. Miller helps people look into the past to find wisdom. It's all for one purpose to improve the leadership of a person or an organization. Join us at the February 16 Wake Up Madison County Breakfast to hear his fascinating story of six people who emerged as leaders in the seven critical hours between the time Senator Robert F. Kennedy learned of Martin Luther King's assassination and the delivery of his speech in downtown Indianapolis. This is a local story about ordinary people and how they helped Indianapolis become one of the few metropolitan cities that did not have riots in the aftermath of this tragedy. This presentation\, in honor of Black History Month\, will be one of your favorites. Dr. Miller has a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in History from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree in history from Anderson University. For more than 10 years\, he was Managing Partner of Thomas P. Miller and Associates\, working with leaders in education\, government and business to improve workforce development strategies. For more than four years prior to this\, he was Director of Strategic Programs for the University of Indianapolis.\n\n\n\n\n\nLOCATION AND TITLE SPONSOR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCALENDAR\n\nFeb 16 | April 20 | June 15 | Sept 21 | Nov 16\n\n\n\nTIME\n\n7:15 AM to 9:00 AM\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nINDIVIDUAL TICKETS\n\n$20 member discount | $28 general admission\n\nIncludes full breakfast\, program\, and networking\n\n\n\nFREE SEASON PASS (5 FOR PRICE OF 4)\n\nBecome a Brand Builder learn more\n\n\n\nPROGRAMMING BROUGHT TO YOU IN PART BY
