DESCRIPTION:The 30th Annual Red Gold  Chili Cook-Off will be held Saturday\, October 10th\, in historic downtown Elwood from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The annual event\, co-sponsored by the Elwood Chamber of Commerce\, will feature the unique chili recipes of over 30 competition teams\, ranging in tastes from sweet-and-mild to hot-and-spicy. Each team is given complimentary Red Gold products for use in their recipe\, and the teams will be competing for cash prizes provided by Red Gold.   visit the website\n\n \n\nEnjoy great activities downtown at the Elwood Municipal Building including: 30+ unique chili recipes to taste\, booths featuring fall crafts\, baked goods\, hand-made specialty items\, live entertainment\, Pro Fisherman Todd Hollowell\, the Pacers Fan Van and the Indianapolis Colts Blue Saturday.\n\n \n\nRed Gold is also excited to present the second Indiana Beer & Wine Garden at the chili cook-off. The garden\, open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, will showcase top locally-brewed craft beers and wines for those who are 21 years of age and older. The Indiana craft breweries and winery on hand will offer tastings\, sales by the glass and will educate consumers on their products.\n\n \n\nThe breweries and winery involved with the event are Two Deep Brewing Co.\, Easley Winery and Sun King Brewery.\n\n \n\nThe event will be held around the fountain area of the Elwood Municipal Building located at South B and Anderson Streets. Booths open at 9:30 a.m. with chili tasting beginning at 11:15 a.m. The price will be 2 cups for $1.00 or 12 cups for $5.00.\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in being part of the chili competition or having a craft booth\, please submit the booth application to the Elwood Chamber of Commerce by October 1\, 2015 by 4pm.
