DESCRIPTION:Dr. Michele L. Malvesti\, former senior director for Combating Terrorism Strategy (2002-2007)\, will be speaking at Anderson University. Malvesti will first meet with Anderson University students majoring in national security studies\, then provide an address at an open forum from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Decker Hall Room 133. This event is free and open to the public.\n\n\n\nMalvesti currently serves as professor of practice in International Security Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. During her time in government\, she served more than five years on the National Security Council staff\, where she advised the President's National Security Advisor and Homeland Security Advisor on counterterrorism policy and strategy.
