SUMMARY:Community Hospital Anderson Foundation Walk of Life
DESCRIPTION:First annual Community Hospital Anderson Foundation's Walk of Life on Saturday\, August 29 at the Community Anderson pond.\n\n\n\nThis walk will raise funds to benefit patients in our community fighting against cancer\, breast cancer\, diabetes\, heart complications\, Parkinson's disease or stroke. \n\n\n\nIn the past we have held separate walks at the pond for a few of these causes. The funds raised were usually donated to the corresponding organization to support patients across the country. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we have decided to have one walk for all of the causes and to keep 90% of the monetary donations local. The remaining 10% will still go to those national organizations to support further research. \n\n\n\nRegistration fee is $20 and includes an event t-shirt.  Additional t-shirts will be available for $12 each.\n\n\n\nThe public is invited to participate in the Walk of Life.\n\nFor more information\, or to purchase a t-shirt\, call 765-298-5129.
