DESCRIPTION:The City of Anderson Sesquicentennial will mark the city's 150th birthday with a week-long celebration from August 22-28.\n\n\n\nIn addition to official sesquicentennial celebrations\, multiple projects have been endorsed by the committee\, extending the celebration and involving many community groups.\n\n\n\nThe Harvey Riedel's Photographic Journal\, Parts 1 & 2 is on display now through October at The Madison County History Center\, 15 11th Street. The first group of 100+ photos will be on display from July 13th through August 17th\, while the second set will be displayed from August 24th through to October 5\, 2015.  This is one show you don't want to miss!!!\n\n\n\nCheck our events calendar for events and activities you can enjoy and be involved in.\n\n\n\nAnd be sure to visit Downtown Anderson during the month of August to see Today AND Tomorrow: The Sesquicentennial Mural
