DESCRIPTION:St. Vincent Medical Group Anderson offers a cardiac support group\, Chatters of the Heart\, on the third Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm in Room 1 of St.Vincent Anderson cafeteria.  The group is open to anyone interested in heart health.  At each meeting\, a healthcare professional provides helpful information about cardiovascular health\, and healthy refreshments are served. \n\n \n\nThe April 19 program will focus on advanced heart failure and the pulmonary artery pressure monitoring device\, CardioMEMS. This implantable fluid sensor is used to improve quality of life for patients suffering with heart failure. The presenter\, Debbie Flanagan\, RN\, BSN\, has 25 years of cardiology experience and has been in the heart failure medical device industry for 13 years. Reservations are not required\, but helpful.
