Lean Clean 2016 Routine
Get ready to “spring clean” your workplace and develop lean, clean routines for a smarter, more productive 2016. This fun session will cover the 5 pillars of 5s as defined as sort, straighten, shine standardize and sustain. Cleaning with meaning can result in cost savings. 5s is a simple but highly effect set of techniques that remove waste from your work environment through better workplace organization, visual communication, and general cleanliness.
GUEST SPEAKER
Leigh Ann Schildmeier
Operations Manager, CB Fabricating & President, Park Avenue Solutions
Leigh Ann Schildmeier is currently the Operations Manager at CB Fabricating. She also is the president and founder of the consulting firm, Park Avenue Solutions and owner of Right Path Wellness. A certified Lean practitioner and a Six Sigma Black Belt, she has worked for over 15 years in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.
Born and raised in the Anderson area, Leigh Ann graduated from Pendleton Heights High School then earned her engineering degree from Purdue University. She returned to Anderson where she started her career at Guide Corporation designing assembly lines for new products. While working, she continued her education by earning an MBA from Anderson University.
Leigh Ann has remained active in the Anderson area, serving on the Advisory Board for Purdue Polytechnic Institute Anderson and the AHS D26 Career Center’s Manufacturing Advisory Board. She currently serves as the Chair for the ASQ Section 0904 East Central Indiana as well as ASQ Deputy Regional Director.
Leigh Ann is married with a step-child and two Beagles. She is a foodie, avid golfer, car enthusiast, Reds Baseball fan, and a loyal Purdue Boilermaker.
